   So, I'm way excited about the start of our Envelope Book class tomorrow (Monday)!! YAHOO!! Collin filmed and edited the videos and I hope you guys love them! The kits are filled with yummy products I CAN'T wait to see what you all make! And for those who are using your own stash of paper and products I'm dying to see what you come up with!

   So...this is the first thread for the Envelope Book class. Say hello if you're taking it, post your questions/comments/photos whenever you feel like it and EVERYONE reach out to everyone else on here and make a new friend or two!! That's one of the many side perks of Something Splendid :)

   Hi from New Zealand! I got my pack today and am so totally excited. I am doing the boy version for my sweet little darling. I love the papers and colour scheme. i'm so excited to get started and learn how to make these cute-pie mini books. This is my first time trying something like this as I usually just do my layouts. would love to hear from others in New Zealand or anywhere actually and love the odea of helping each other out or chatting. thanks heaps and have fun everyone! xx

   Love this quote at the moment and it is above my computer so I can read it all the time. Wanted to share because i think that as creative people we tend to aspire to someone else or a fav person but forgetting that our talents are just as if not more valid in our life and to our families. I'm excited by this mini book but like that I can add my ideas (even if a few) to it. hoep you don't mind the long post people:-)

    YAY! I can't believe class has started :):) this is my first online class and I've been literally waiting by my computer for this to begin hehe :D

    I'm Alannah from Christchurch,New Zealand (SMIGGLES; HI MY FELLOW NZ'ER!) I'm 18 and finished school last year and this year I'm working full time before I go into study :)
    I'm proud to say that I've adopted the family spare bedroom as my craft room ;) (how many kids get away with that, am I right!?) I'm making my envelope book about why I love to scrapbook and what inspires me :D

    Love the lesson 1 video, i converted the inch to cm for european student...
    For the front cover: 5.5 * 5.5 inch = 14cm * 14 cm
    score to 1 inch= 2.5 cm
    for the back cover:
    7.5 * 6 inch = 19.1 * 15.2 cm
    score to 1 inch et 1.5 inch = 2.5 cm et 3.8 cm
