Introduce yourself, where are you from, how long have you been scrapbooking, favorite goodies in the kit, what you're thankful for, whatever!!

Hi everyone. I'm Melanie and I live in South Carolina as of right now. (We move around a lot with the railroad) I have been reading Liz's blog for a while and I just got to meet her at Spark last month. I have been scrapbooking for a while but it took a backseat to our 3 moves in a year. Going to Spark kinda 'sparked' me again and I am busy making my December Daily book. I am excited to get started with our Thankful Class and look forward to learning some new techniques.

I have some stash I want to use up so I will be creating my own journal with Liz's videos! I can't wait to see what comes of it :) And I hope it isn't Easter before I get it done :)!!
Hey :) Melanie here from WA state. I've been scrapbooking forever, always taping memorabilia and photos into journals and albums. I guess in the newer version of scrapping it's been about 11 years now. I have 5 kiddos ages 3-12. Love the kit--probably my favorite things are the trims :) I'm very thankful for my family, especially my hubby who turns 40 today. Excited to get started!

I am Kimberly! I live in Destin Florida. I am a mom to three little boys ages 6, 3, and 7 months and I am an Air Force wife! My hubby is deployed right now but will start heading home December first (hopefully it wont take too long for him to get home!)!!! I have not scrapbooked in years so I am hoping this will get me back in the game!
Hi ladies -- I am Ann Marie. I am in love with Lizzy and everything she creates. And I am absolutely TOTALLY in love with all the classes being on there. I like to go through the classes and then go back and really break it down, so I'm thrilled about this. I am a scrapper/card maker and mixed media --- I never know what I'm going to do until I sit down at the table and believe me, it's always a surprise. Happy bookmaking and I'm happy to meet you all!
Nice to meet you all! I am Rachael, homeschool mom of three (ages 2, 6 and 9). We live on a little farm in North Georgia, about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. Like Melanie, I've been scrapbooking forever. I've always loved any kind of craft that involved paper, tape and glue. Right now, I am working on my December Daily foundation pages, but I'm excited to take a turn to focus on gratitude with the Thankful journal. I'm very interested to see how this class works out.

Wait, I want to add a PS. You know what I'm really grateful for? That I have the extra money to take these classes. Seriously. I have a lot of friends who just don't have the extra and would love to take classes, so I am grateful that I have the extra money to get the kit and take the class. That's all :)
Thanks for the PS note Ann Marie. One of the reasons we really wanted to do a Thankful Journal is because there is so much negative things happening in the world right now, we thought it'd be fun to focus on the little blessings we have to be grateful for. Times are tougher for everyone right now it seems, let's all take a breath and count our blessings! :)
Hey everyone:) Phyllis from Murfreesboro, TN here. I made scrapbooks in high school, stopped for years and got into it again about 15 years ago. My kids are all grown, one in the Army and two in college. I love to play with paint and mist, so I'm looking forward to that part of the kit. I'm thankful for my family and all the blessings we've had over the years. I'm looking forward to the class.

Hi I'm Emma from the UK, I'm a stay at home mum to two wonderful children aged 9 and 4 I love any crafting. We have just moved and this time I get a room all to myself which I'm very excited about, still trying to unpack it lol. Have fun everyone !!!
Hi I am Catherine, just moved to Virginia from Washington state to be closer to family. I have been a long time scrapper but over the last few months have been in a creative slump, I think mostly because of selling our home, packing up, moving cross country, unpacking...blah, blah, blah. When I saw this class I jumped in with the hope that it will inspire me and my creativity.

Hello All! I am Sharon from WA state. I too have been scrapbooking for years, along with card making, digital scrapping, and now using all my supplies to dabble in Mixed Media and Art journals. I truly believe that we have an artistic soul, and taking anything by Dear Lizzy allows me to feed mine :) Let's see...my favorite item in the kit?...I think its the glassine bags if I can be truthful! Love that they hold the most wonderful goodies! Looking forward to drawing inspiration from all of you ladies :)
Hi I am from Singapore. This is my 2nd class at Something Splendid. I have been scraping for 5 years and still loving it! I haven't receive the kit but based on the video I am loving the stamp:). I am thankful for having a supportive family and friends who are always there for me when i am happy, angry, sad and stress. and thanks Lizzy for the wonderful work and glad to be able to join in and having fun.

I am Jule from Germany. I am so excited to join all of you in this class. I have been crafting for my whole life, but the passion for scrapbooking and cardmaking is what seems to stay with me. This is only my second online class and I unfortunately chose to make it without the kit because of the customs and duty stuff I expected. That will change the next time! At least that puts some pressure on me to make my pregnancy mini album, something I am so thankful for that I can not even put it into words. Lizzy's blog and this class will be the inspirations that I sometimes need to be creative (after a long day of working and caring for my little one..., you all know this).
I am looking forward to all of your creations and your stories. It is always a pleasure to know, that you can share your experiences and your work with different people, especially if you are from non-scrapbooking-countries like Germany- although the scrap-scene is becoming more interesting, right, Josephine?!

I'm Mary from Stoughton, WI. I started stamping and making cards about 10 years ago. I only started scrapbooking in just the last couple of years. My inspiration primarily comes from my faith and many of my pages are filled with scripture and song lyrics. I also like to make gifts for others such as framed photos/pages, book marks, and notepads. I've only participated in one other online class, but my this is my first with Lizzy. I'm so excited to make this journal and to be inspired by all of you.

My name is Erin and I live in a small town south of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have a 5 YO son and am the Program Director for a not-for-profit childcare society. I have been scrapbooking for 8 years and am currently an upswing from a creativity rut :). My MOJO is back!
I am thankful for so much, the funniest son ever, family close-by and so many amazing changes coming my way. I signed up for this class because I think that there is so much negativity these days in the news and other media outlets, I need a reminder of the good. This is my second class with Lizzy, my first on MakeSomethingSplendid. Can't wait to get this one rolling!

OMG really really really reallY loving this kit! Did I Mention I LOVE THIS KIT!!!!!! For so many reasons but mostly cos' you can adapt it to what your tastes are if you want or just follow along. I also love that you have left over bits and pieces to use on other things:-). This sort of kit keeps me crafty when maybe I don't have the up and go to be crafty by myself so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU LIZ!!!
